Our Story
Froghug Films was loosely formed in 2014 as a 48 Hour Film Project team to make a fun short film with as few people involved as possible. The crew consisted of two people and the cast was another two. That film ended up being 'The Helper.' We didn't get any awards for it, but it was fun. That is one of our core values: Have Fun.
Since the Pandemic of 2020 hit, I’ve done some COVIDEOS, a Music video for The Real Tuesday Weld and pulled together a bunch of things for development, including a fantasy drama about Magic in New Orleans and a children’s preschool series about daydreaming.
Who Am I?
I am Matthias Sundberg, a writer, editor, director and producer with fifteen years of experience in the production field. I've worked everything from film festivals, cell phone game companies, fashion houses, web startups and major television and film studios. My last big project was a 6-year stint as editor, director and associate producer on Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood for Fred Rogers Productions and PBS Kids, but I’ve worked on everything from features to corporate video. I budget, schedule, write, direct, edit, color correct, give notes & coverage and a shoulder to rest on when you just need somebody to talk to.
